Karel has been chief executive of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) since 2000 and senior research fellow since 1997. He is a member of the European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee (ESFRC) and has published widely on EU and financial regulation matters.
Dr. Arnal is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in finance. She is part of the research team in ECRI and a senior research fellow in the Financial Markets and Institutions Unit at CEPS.
Fredrik is part of the research team in ECRI and a researcher in the Financial Markets and Institutions Unit at CEPS. He has been involved in projects related to the Payment Services Directive, Retail Investors, Financial reporting and insurance products for households.
Beatriz is the coordinator of the Financial Markets and Institutions Unit of CEPS and the European Credit Research Institute. She oversees and coordinates all activities, from projects, to events, to memberships.
Alice joined ECRI in 2023, as part of the Financial Markets and Institutions unit at CEPS.
She holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs from the University of Bologna. Before joining CEPS, she completed a traineeship at the European Commission, specialising in policy communications. Her prior work experience includes intern positions at the Emilia-Romagna Region’s Delegation to the EU and ECIT Foundation, a think tank dedicated to EU citizens’ rights and democracy.
Membership
The European Credit Research Institute (ECRI) is a think-tank managed by CEPS and has its own board with its own strategy.
